Plan a special night. It doesn't have to involve a stay at a four star hotel or dinner at a snazzy restaurant, either. It's not always necessary to empty your wallet to have a little romance. For example, invite your sweetie over to your place for dinner. (Or if you live together, have dinner prepared for when he or she comes home from work.)

Again, the dinner doesn't have to be fillet mignon. Even if you can only cook grilled cheese sandwiches, do that.
